Quiet Spaces

Quiet Spaces was set up in June 2023 by Rev'd Judy Greenfield and Karen Griffiths to offer spaces for contemplation and reflection in the Plymouth area. Each Quiet Spaces session differs, but it could include poetry, reflections, prayers and sharing, along with a 30 minute silence focusing on inner stillness with God. The silence can be used flexibly; some might find a corner to reflect on readings, others might like to walk outside and connect with God's creation. Colouring books, pens and books are also available to use during the sessions.

Quiet Spaces is a joint venture between St Mary's Church in Plympton, and St Anne's Church in Grenholt, both in Plymouth, and it is run on the fourth Friday of each month, alternatively at each church. The date for the next one is Friday 23 August, St Mary's Church. It is hoped that Quiet Spaces can expand to other churches, so if you are interested in offering a Quiet Space at your church please do get in touch
